On Wednesday the 4th September the CGHS/CBHS Orchestra and String Orchestra performed in their annual concert in the Wednesday at One series at St Mary's church in Manchester Street.

Although there had been a great deal of sickness in the orchestra, we still produced a  challenging programme that was performed to a high level.

A particular highlight was Ingrid Kosaka's solo cello playing in Bruch's Kol Nidrei and the orchestra in Finlandia by Sibelius.

Thank you very much to all concerned, you were an absolute credit to our school. A special thanks to Philippa Lodge, Anne Clark, Antonio Dimitrov, Angela Mote-Andrews and  Melanie Ross for their help.
