In what was a very successful follow up to last year, the CGHS/CBHS Combined Orchestra, along with the String Orchestra, Cantrices and Guitar Ensemble, performed at St Mary’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, in one of their lunchtime concerts.

This provided a great chance for the Orchestra and String Orchestra to perform before the upcoming Orchestral Festival, which is on Monday 17th  September at CBHS.

Special mention must be made of Jean Yu Lim of 11 COA who gave an impressive performance of the the third movement of Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Piano Concerto with the Combined Orchestra.  All students performed with great enthusiasm and musicianship and were a real credit to the school.
