On Tuesday 19th November, a group of 35 Year 10 French students spent the day in Akaroa.

After a very French morning tea of croissants, groups of students set off on their Amazing Race.  The tasks involved finding French-related items such as street signs and shop signage, as well as historical information around the town.  

The teams were very competitive and careful planning of a route to gather the most points in the time allowed proved to be the key to success.

After a hearty lunch, the girls found some time to relax and enjoy the scenery before prizes were awarded to the winning team.
