Emily and Kate Koller, former Christchurch Girls' High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora students, and Ursula Howell Travel Scholarship winners from 2021 and 2022, used their scholarship money to travel to Europe last summer.

While there, they visited several places of literary significance, including the Globe Theatre, the National Portrait Gallery, and Anne Frank House. We hope that their letter of gratitude to a trustee of the Howell Fund inspires current Christchurch Girls' High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora  students to develop their love of literature.
