Dance - Kaniknai - Level 3
Qualification: NCEA Level 3 (approved UE Course)
Entry requirements:
Background knowledge and experience in Dance.
Ākonga will need suitable attire to dance in and dance shoes for performance work.
Content/Skills: The course is a combination of choreography, performance and analyzing dance
There may also be opportunities for workshops and external visits.
Field Trips: There will be opportunities to attend performances and workshops.
Course Costs: Workshop costs when applicable, plus dance performance ticket costs.
Assessment:
3 Internal Achievement Standards worth 14 Credits
1 External Achievement Standard worth 4 Credits
This course offers 4 UE Writing credits.
