Uniform Information
As you may be aware, there were additional options for our uniform introduced recently.
Please be clear that our formal uniform remains as blazer, kilt and tie. We are still a blazer school and the current uniform stays exactly the same.
There are however, now 6 ties. Each year level has its own compulsory tie. There is also a colours tie that can be worn by anyone who has received this honour at any year level. We will allow a little flexibility during this term with the ties while we wait for the colours tie to be available.
Additions to the uniform:
· Shorts – These are a summer optional addition only. Juniors can wear shorts with the white summer shirt they currently wear with the skirt. Seniors can wear it with the new striped senior shirt without a tie (until the new shirts arrive seniors can wear the shorts with the junior white short-sleeved shirt).
· Senior Striped Shirt - Unfortunately there has been a manufacturing delay. These will be available at the end of Term 1 2019. These optional striped shirts can be worn summer or winter. In summer without a tie, in winter with the tie.
· Lava Lava – This option can be worn all year round by any year level. In summer with the relative summer shirt and in winter with the relevant winter shirt and tie.
· Trousers – A year-round option, worn with blue socks and brown shoes and relevant winter or summer shirt (and tie in winter).
· Red Shell Jacket – This can be worn like the school scarf – to and from school and around school but not in class.
· Rugby Jersey – This will be available in 2020.
· PE Top – Is at design stage.
These can be viewed on the Mainland Uniforms website.
