Throughout the 2018 season, the CGHS 1st XV has had a lot of success.

Our only loss in 3 years was to last year’s rivals, the Burnside/Rangi combined team! However, on Wednesday, Girls’ High played their best game thus far, beating this same Rangi/ Burnside team 41-0 and taking our team to the top of the table once more.

With the final approaching quickly, on the 29th of August, CGHS only have two more games to go before the big play off. Some exciting news for our 1st XV is that we will be travelling down to Dunedin early September to play Southland Girls’ for the South Island title. If CGHS win, we will travel to the North island to play the top 3 teams in New Zealand and, maybe, we may have the opportunity to win Nationals! So, come on down to South Hagley on Wednesday the 15th and 22nd August to show your support and get a glimpse of our team in action.
