Battle of the books - Our student librarian committee are currently running a book title competition.

This was advertised earlier in the term through our notices and instagram, information was drip fed to students to build up interest. We have some winning titles already and are waiting for the rest. Students are placing votes in the box in the library to win prizes at the end of the battle.

Spelling Bee

Medha Baadkar participated in the 2023 New Zealand Spelling Bee final in Wellington on the 3rd and 4th November. She was one of four Canterbury finalists. Medha was awarded with travel and accommodation expenses to be able to participate in the final competition. 

Congratulations Medha on representing our kura in the final competition.  Medha had an  amazing experience with 23 other finalists from around the country.
