2021 Athletics Canterbury Championship Finals

The Canterbury Athletics Finals took place at Ngā Puna Wai on Saturday, 20th March. Our team consisted of 31 athletes, with lots of great results achieved.

It’s amazing to see so many junior athletes that competing this year, which is super exciting for CGHS in the future! Also, a massive good luck to all of these athletes below who will be competing at South Island Athletics Championships, held at Ngā Puna Wai on the 9th and 10th of April!! 

Under 14

  • Lily Weeds -  2nd 100m, 3rd 200m, 3rd Long Jump
  • Ruby Simon -  2nd 400m

  • Hannah Grenfell - 2nd 2000m race walk
