Senior Speech Competition
On Thursday the 8th August, we had our annual Senior Speech Competition held in the PAC.
We had six wonderful competitors bravely take to the stage to share their speeches which covered a variety of topics.
A huge congratulations to Willa Lambert (Year 12) for taking out first place on her speech on the effects of colonisation here in Aotearoa. Second place went to Kate Gopperth (Year 12) who entertained the audience on the childhood pastime of Lego. Third was Fatima Siddiqui (Year 13) who reminded us all of the true power of words.
A huge congratulation to all our speakers on having the courage to stand up on stage and put themselves out there. The speeches were informative, engaging and enjoyed by the audience.
