A Warm Welcome From The PTA

CGHS PTA —

The Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Parent Teachers Association (CGHS PTA) would like to extend a very warm welcome to our school community.

Dear Parents, Whānau and Caregivers,

The CGHS PTA would like to extend a very warm welcome to our school community.

The PTA quietly work away to make Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora a better place for your daughter’s learning and form a link between home and school. Our monthly meetings are an ideal opportunity to meet and get to know other like-minded parents. You are invited to become involved with the PTA and be part of your daughter’s school.

The PTA’s main source of income is generated from your contributions made with your school donation (shown on your school account as ‘PTA Donation’). In addition, we hold fundraising activities throughout the year, run the Year 11, 12 and 13 Formals, operate the very busy Secondhand Uniform Shop and support prize giving. Funds collected go towards items that fall outside of the Board of Trustees’ scope which benefit the students at school and support the school wish list requests.

To make all this happen, we welcome you to send us an email (pta@cghs.school.nz) if you would like to become a volunteer and be included in 2024 PTA communications.

Ngā mihi,

Bridget Frame - PTA President

Neroli Anderson - Treasurer

Tracey Batstone - Secretary

Anna Mowat and Adrienne Scott - Secondhand Uniform Shop

Mandy Hinton – Formals
