Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora will be hosting the Open Day Experience on the 16th of May 2023.

Bookings are now open for the Open Day Experience for current Year 8 students and their Caregivers (maximum of 3 per family).

There are four sessions that will take place at 9am, 10am, 11am and 12 pm. This includes speeches from the Principal, our Head Prefect and two of our junior students, after which you will be taken around the school guided by students. 

You will need to allow approximately 30 minutes for the guided tour of the school.  You will witness classes in action and a moment in time for a Christchurch Girls' High student.

As we are only able to accommodate those that have pre-booked for the Principal's Address, we ask that you please either print the confirmation of booking email or have it available electronically when you come at your booked time.

On Open Day, Tuesday 16th May, please come to the main entrance on Matai Street. Students will greet and direct you from there.

Please allow plenty of time for parking on the day. You might like to consider parking on the other side of the railway in the area of Harakeke Street and enjoy the short walk to school. Please do not park in the Chateau carpark.
