Statistics - Level 2 (STA201)
Qualification: NCEA Level 2
Entry requirements: A minimum of 12 credits which must include: Achievement Standards 1.10 (91035: Statistics), 1.12 (91037: Chance and Data) and 1.1 (91026: Number) are required. Achievement in 1.3 (91028: Tables and Equations) or 1.4 (91029: Linear Algebra) is desirable. Entry is at the discretion of the HOLA.
Content/Skills: This course has a more numerical and statistical approach to solving problems. Topics studied are Statistical Inference, Simulations, Probability, Questionnaire Design and Networks.
