This week Te Kura o Hine Waiora celebrated Te Wiki o te reo Māori along with the rest of Aotearoa.
The whānau committee came up with a selection of activities to run throughout the week. On Monday we began watching Moana in te reo Māori. We then continued to watch this on Thursday and Friday. On Tuesday we played some classic Māori games like pakō and pukana, which brought out the competitive side of many!
Although we were slightly slowed down by the lockdown, the whānau committee pulled through and put on a great week for our students.
