Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Year 12 Health classes are taking action to improve the well-being of our school community by distributing free menstrual products to all students.

The purpose of these packs is to help combat period poverty, increase period-positive attitudes and reduce the stigma around periods.

The packs contain enough products for up to 3 months. During the ako times of Week 7, all students will be receiving these packs. 

This could be a great conversation starter in your whānau. Please encourage your students to show respect for these products, for example, if they feel they will not use them to give them to a friend or family member who may.
