The house spirit has grown significantly this year, for all houses. For Selwyn, the number of girls participating in house events has increased heaps!

This was able to be seen at Athletics Day with the masses of green girls getting involved in all events. During the house assemblies, we were able to rehearse our Selwyn chant which could be loudly heard on Athletics Day. The biggest house event of the year, Lip Sync, was a big success for all houses. Selwyn saw a large group of girls participate and get stuck in to all practices (a success as there were a lot of these).

 Our theme this year was Scooby Doo and all Selwyn girls were super involved with everything including the composition of costumes, choreographing dances, giving helpful ideas and helping out where necessary, which definitely contributed to the fun and success of the night for everyone. Overall, Selwyn has had a great year, with the introduction of the house assemblies, the participation of girls in the house events has increased and so has the spirit and pride in our house.
