Whānau Hui – Term 1, 2023

CGHS Publication —

The first whānau hui for 2023 will be held at 6pm on Thursday 23rd February in the staffroom.

The kura whānau consists of any ākonga (students) and their whanau who are involved with kaupapa Māori within the school such as: being enrolled in the whānau ako class, learning Te Reo Māori, participating in kapa haka as well as those ākonga and their whānau who identify as being Māori.

The first whānau meeting is an informal opportunity to come along and find out more about kaupapa Māori in our kura and discuss our plans for the year. It is also an opportunity to meet some key people who are involved with facilitating kaupapa Māori within the kura.

We aim to be finished by 8.00pm and a light supper will be provided.

To help with catering could you please complete the google form here if you intend to join us.

We hope that you will take the opportunity to come into the kura and meet more members of our Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora community.
