New CGHS/ToHW Website

We are delighted to announce that our school website has been fully updated. The new site is now a dynamic space, providing information and announcements to the school community and wider audience.

In the top right-hand side of the web page cghs.school.nz, there is a drop-down menu entitled My CGHS. Here you will find links to parent and student pages. There is no login required for access to information on the parent page, except the Parent Portal. Students will be prompted to login with their school account details when they access certain icons, such as email, Google Classroom.

Important announcements will appear at the top of the parent and student pages as appropriate, and the icons below provide access to a range of information.

The website is henceforth the main information hub for parents, staff and students.

The School App

The CGHS/TKoHW app is available on the App Store. Search for SchoolApps, and then search for Christchurch Girls’ High School and select the app.

The school app continues to be the preferred method of communication to the school regarding student absences. Other information is also available via links on the app.

We are currently updating the database on the school app. All current students and caregivers who have not yet accessed the app should have received an email with an access link for 2023.

The Parent Portal

This can be accessed via the parent page on the website, by clicking on the Parent Portal icon.

The Parent and Student Portals require a username and login. These will be emailed to families new to the school in the next few days. If you are the caregiver of an existing student and do not have access to the portal, please email pim@cghs.school.nz

The portal provides access to student and caregivers details, timetable, attendance, reports, results and financial statements.
