Senior Speech Competition

CGHS —

On Thursday 9 August, eight senior students partook in the CGHS Senior Speech Competition. The competition was fierce, with eight superb and well-crafted speeches.

However, two of the speeches stood out and therefore received first and second place. Second place went to Year 12 student Harriet Murray, who presented an original and compelling spoken word poem called “The grass isn’t greener”. First place went to Year 13 student Francine Mula, who wowed the judges with her natural charisma during her powerful speech about what success truly is.

Well done, Francine and Harriet.
