We have started the year very positively. It was wonderful to welcome back all year levels and especially to see the Year 9 students inducted to secondary school so successfully.

Our students continue to gain pleasing NCEA results. At level 1, 96% of students achieved and 82.8% gained endorsed certificates. Level 2 had a 92% pass rate and 66% endorsement rate and Level 3 a 95.5% pass rate and 53.5% endorsement rate. Congratulations to all our students as they pursue personal excellence.

This is a time full of promise. It is a privilege and a pleasure to see so many young women eager to embrace learning and the year ahead. I am sad that I will not be here to complete their journey with them but I know that it’s going to be a good year!
