The junior Basketball team travelled to Timaru for Tournament week.

Even though some of the results were not what the team had hoped for, the team stayed positive and continued to play their best throughout the 4 days. We won our first game 65-46 against Timaru Girls. Against Rangi Ruru we lost 61-49 but the girls put up a fight till the last second and we couldn’t be more proud of their efforts. 

Over all it was a great experience. We all enjoyed ourselves and made many good memories. 

Thank you to Grace Lange and Ruby Marshall for being awesome coaches and thank you to all the girls who were in the team. You all played outstanding basketball and should be very proud of yourselves.
