The Drama Department is delighted to hear that two of our former students, Rosalind Lay-Yazdani and Ruby Pledge have both been given places on the Toi Whakaari Bachelor of Performing Arts course in Wellington for 2020.

This is a significant accomplishment as over 300 students are auditioned across New Zealand to be selected for a place on the audition weekend. Of the 55 students who attend this weekend selection process only 20 are offered places. Toi Whakaari is New Zealand’s premier training facility for acting and the technical disciplines and former alumni include our own Mrs Garrett, Cliff Curtis, Robyn Malcom, Rawiri Paratene, Miranda Harcourt and Kerry Fox. 

We are very proud of the girls and look forward to hearing about their experiences in Wellington.
