I was lucky to attend the Climate Challenge Conference in Christchurch this weekend, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had so far! They had some amazing speakers and workshops, I’ve both learned and grown a lot as a person. I also had the opportunity to meet lots of people my age, who like me care about the climate crisis happening right now. Knowing that I’m not the only one fighting for a sustainable future inspired me and gave me hope to keep going, as it is so easy to feel like you’re the only one who actually cares. Though it wasn’t a very restful weekend as one would hope after a long week, it was completely worth going, something I’ll never forget.
