Cantrices is our school’s auditioned choir, including students involved from Year 9-13.

Cantrices is directed by Miss Morrison and Miss Tinworth. We have seen our fair share of challenges in 2020 with the cancellation of the Big Sing and other regional festivals and performances due to Covid-19, but we have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to perform at music concerts and school events throughout the year.

Student leader Kezia Fowler-Blyth has worked hard to keep the team spirits high during a challenging and disjointed year. Singers bonded over their annual camp during Term 1, working on their vocal skills and building friendships. This is always a highlight of the choir’s year and this year saw the construction of some pretty magnificent marshmallow castles.

We have been incredibly proud of our team in their display of resilience and dedication. We are looking forward to getting stuck into some exciting repertoire for the return of the Big Sing in 2021.
