CGHS Old Girls, rowing sisters Lucy and Phoebe Spoors may be in different boats at the upcoming World Cup regattas, but they have each other's backs.

Having more than one member of the family representing New Zealand in the same sport may not be anything special.

Lucy Spoors attended CGHS 2004-2008 and Phoebe Spoors attended 2007-2011 (Phoebe's twin Grace also attended at this time). All three played netball and basketball and were part of the rowing club while at Girls' High.
