Our Junior Theatresports team - Evie Ryan, Hazel Amos, Isabella Kerr, Medha Baadkar and Ashlyn Morrison took part in The Court Theatre competition last Sunday afternoon.

Performing with incredible energy and commitment, the team won their heat and now advance to the finals. The team have been coached superbly by Emily McVicar.  From their first game, they demonstrated an excellent understanding of improvisation and the importance of creating strong, engaging characters. They worked well as a team, and their passion, talent and enjoyment were evident throughout – they were truly a delight to watch. 

Despite not getting their first-choice in games, they embraced the aptly named, ‘New Choice’ for their final scene, securing victory with their entertaining carrot competition conflict. It is so impressive to see such confidence and risk-taking on display and I’m sure all these young actors have a promising future ahead of them.
