On Wednesday night we announced our 2024 school leaders.

For 2024 our 4 deputies will oversee a school value and work closely with our other prefects and wider school leaders.

Head of Aroha - Sylvie King

Head of Manaakitanga- Alice Newman

Head of Rangatiritanga- Sophia Smith

Head of Whanaungatanga- Sophie Yarham

Our prefects of school spirit will be;

Connon- Isabella Williamson, Deans- Brooke Perrim, Harper- Juliet Phoon, Rolleston- Lia Jenkins, Selwyn- Tegan Pain, Sheppard- Frances Stanley.

The 2024 Prefects are Sofia Bohm, Kate Currie, Nethasa Dissanayake, Maddie Eastgate, Isabella Fainga'anuku, Lucia Hinton, Lucy Jackson, Laura Mooar, Ruby Pink, Fatima Siddiqui, Holly Smith, Lily Spark and Leila Tu'inukuafe.

We would also like to thank our 2023 Prefect team of students for their hard work over the last year. You have worked behind the scenes doing the hard mahi and for this we thank you. Thank you for the extra hours and early mornings you have given to the school and we wish you all the best for your future.

This has been the first year without COVID-19 and its impact on school life. This has meant full weekly school assemblies that the prefects have helped oversee. The 2023 team had Lipsync success and have worked hard to try and get students involved in our wider school life and give back to our wider school community.

You are all strong leaders and we thank you for the contribution you have made to our school not only this year but over the past 5 years of your time at CGHS.  Our incoming leaders have big shoes to fill.
