Peer Support started this year with 80 enthusiastic Year 13 students on their training day at school, they were divided into groups and spent the day getting to know each other and preparing for the arrival of the 250 Year 9 students.

The Peer Support leaders were incredible with the first week of the Year 9 student's, they brought them together and helped them gently into new friendships in their Ako classes. The week brought fun, excitement and new friendships by the bucket load!

Camp came in week 5 and 25 eager Peer Support leaders volunteered their time to come and support the Year 9 students and teachers at Waipara Springs. This was a wonderful experience for all involved, the girls showed respect and leadership in their interactions with staff, camp staff and the Year 9 students.
