Next Friday 9 April another student climate strike is taking place in Christchurch at midday in Cathedral Square. Students may attend this only if parents have supplied permission to leave school thereby taking responsibility for the student. Please do this by 8am at the latest on 9 April (preferably earlier in the week) via email only at attendance@cghs.school.nz. Please do not use a telephone message as our office staff were overwhelmed on the last occasion. As the march is at midday, students must be present through to the end of our academic assembly and may sign out after assembly if parents have previously emailed permission.

Easter has come around very quickly. It barely seems like we started the new school year only yesterday and so much has happened in that time. I wish you all a very Happy Easter and a lovely restful time with your families.
