Last Saturday, two of our year 12 music students, Cleo Cavell and Scarlett Robson, played at the National Smokefree Rockquest Final.

Held at Q Theatre in Auckland, their band ‘The Jehts’ which also includes two other Christchurch students, successfully took home third place out of 700 bands across the country. They played two of their original songs, ‘She Ain’t Got No Shame’ and ‘Someplace New’, which were written for earlier rounds in the competition.
