South Island Archery Tournament Success
Lauren Tucker did very well over the weekend in Invercargill at the South Island District Archery Association Tournament.
Lauren was up against some very stiff competition in the South Island District Archery Association Tournament. She competed using a compound bow and the style of archery was Target Archery.
Her results were as follows:
- First in the Target round on Saturday, winning both the trophy and gold medal.
- Gold in the teams match play.
- Silver in the Individual match play, competing against all other compound archers, including the senior men.
- Highest score across all archers at the tournament.
- Also presented with the Junior Achievement Trophy.
In three weeks time Lauren is off to Palmerston North for the Indoor Nationals to be held over the first weekend of September.
Congratulations Lauren and best of luck at nationals.
