Robin Brown —

Petra Curd-McCullough, student at Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Wiaora (Year 13) was selected to represent New Zealand as a member of the senior girls Squash team and was also appointed captain of the Girls Team.

The tournament took place in Brisbane Australia and ran from Monday 22 August to Friday 26 August. There were three separate trophies up for winning which were the Trans-Tasman singles competition against Queensland and New South Wales and the Trans-Tasman doubles against Queensland and New South Wales.

New Zealand won both of these competitions quite convincingly. On the Friday there was the Test Match which is New Zealand verse a combined Australia team. The test match was made up of doubles and singles matches and the country that won the most games would win overall.

Again New Zealand won this competition and was awarded this trophy.

Overall we ended up winning all three of the parts of the tournament and took home all three trophies.
