On Monday Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora took a team of nine girls to the Canterbury Duathlon Champs at Ruapuna Raceway.

All the girls gave it absolutely everything and it showed in the results. 

In the U19 girls Olivia Kikstra claimed silver while Eva Watson was a close 4th. Pixie Cockerill also claimed silver in the U16 girls and in the U14 girls Katie Gardner was 7th and Zoe Trolove 8th. 

In the teams’ race Ella McDonald and Paris Carrol came away with gold in the U16 race and Lili Ovendale and Harriet Rowse claimed 3rd in the U19 girls. 

I would like to congratulate all the girls for getting out there and giving it their all.
