Kia ora koutou, Talofa lava, Mālō e lelei, greetings to you all

My name is Mr Brocklehurst and I'm excited to welcome 2023 Year 9 ākonga and their whānau to the Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora community!

As a Year 9 student, you are about to begin a new and exciting stage of your life and you’ve come to a fantastic school for it!

There are so many opportunities to be a part of at Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora - academic, cultural, sporting and social. If you make the most of everything on offer, you will learn lots of new skills, make new friends and have lots of fun along the way.

As Dean, my role is to support you as a Year 9 student in all aspects of school life. I will stay as your Dean throughout your time at this kura.
