The A and B Volleyball teams had an amazing time up in Palmerston North playing in the week long Volleyball New Zealand Nationals from 18 - 23 March.

It was an unforgettable experience as there were 172 teams from throughout New Zealand taking part. We faced some challenges at the tournament in the form of, not only games, but sickness within the teams.

The A team had good wins against Mata Mata College, Napier Girls', Whangarei Girls' and One Tree Hill College, and some close losses. The B team had wins against Albany Senior High, Mana College, Glendowie College, St Catherine's College and St Paul's Collegiate. Both teams were unable to play on the final day. The highly contagious gastro bug went around many teams at the tournament and towards the end of the week it made its way through our two teams taking most of us out one by one.

Overall though the tournament was a memorable experience with the MVP going to Jo (B team manager) who took care of all of us who got sick! The A team came 22nd (6th in Division 2) — early in the week and the B team came 3rd in Division 6.
