Daffodil Day Street Collection Volunteers

Kathleen King, Service Prefect —

On Friday 28th and Saturday 2th August, 14 girls from the CGHS Volunteer Army spent several hours volunteering as street collectors for the Cancer Society’s annual Daffodil Day appeal.

Our students—from year 9 to year 13—worked in pairs, exchanging daffodils for donations.

Daffodil Day is a key event in the calendar for the Cancer Society and they were hugely appreciative of the hard work and big smiles our girls put in. Our students represented CGHS beautifully while supporting an appeal that affects so many families. Well done girls!
