Mathematics - Year 12 (12MAT)
Qualification: NCEA Level 2
Entry requirements: A minimum of 16 credits at NCEA Level 1 Mathematics including 1.1 (91026: Number), and at least Merit in either 1.2 (91027: Algebra) or 1.3 (91028: Tables and Graphs)
Students are selected for this course according to their performance in the Year 11 school examinations. Entry is at the discretion of the HOLA.
Content/Skills: This course covers Algebra, Trigonometry, Graphing, Probability and begins the study of Calculus. Concepts are related to real-life situations and contextual problems are used throughout the course.
