Last Wednesday the CGHS cycling team was able to compete for the Litolff cup in the Canterbury Schools Team Time Trial Champs.

It has been a very disruptive season, with firstly, the start of racing being delayed and then our cyclists were only able to compete in three Wednesday races before racing was called off again due to the country re-entering level 2. Thankfully, the organisers of the Litolff Cup competition were able to keep numbers under 100 on Wednesday so we could have our last, and most important race of the season. 

CGHS had two teams entered in the U20 category, the first being Meg Barnes, Amye Kellow, Caitlin Jamieson and Orla Fitzgerald; the second team being Lola Bryson-Boe, Brooke Keown, Claudia Wright and Hannah Ferguson. Both teams raced exceptionally well, however, the first team ended up taking the win and claiming the Litolff Cup; the second team came in at 7th place. 

The racing that was able to be had has been fantastic this year, and Wednesday was a great way to end the very short season of cycling.
