Under the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 (the Order), schools are required to maintain an up-to-date register with the vaccine status of all eligible students.

Recording this information will enable us to know the vaccination status of all eligible students to ensure we are complying with the Order, and in the case of an outbreak, respond accordingly.

To give us an indication of the current vaccination status of all our students aged 12 and above, you should have received an email today (Friday 29th October) from Christchurch Girls’ High School/Te Kura o Hine Waiora regarding the vaccination register. This email contained a link to a form within which you can indicate your child’s current COVID-19 vaccination status. We are expecting more details around gathering proof of vaccination status in due course and we will provide more information on this once it is available.

The link to the form that was sent out today provides options to indicate your child’s current vaccination status. There are options to indicate ‘Medical exemption’, ‘No intention to be vaccinated’ and ‘I do not wish to provide this information'. Please ensure you answer this question to avoid automatic reminder emails from the school.
