On Tuesday 28 of March, our Year 9 Zoology Team was lucky to have some special guests enter the classroom.

Janet from the NZ Conservation Trust came into the class and taught us about kiwis and tuatara and their way of living and what their threats are.

She even brought her friend Burke the tuatara for us to have a look at and learn about.

As well as Burke, we also got to see some kiwi, ferret, stoat and weasel models. It was really interesting as we now fully understand how tuataras and kiwis live and how people are protecting them.
