Book Week 2019 is a chance to promote our much-loved mythical stories. A huge dragon greets all visitors to the library - made by our student librarians over many weeks, and it is magnificent.

They also made displays for Maui, Pandora, Medusa and all the leaves on our 'trees'. The lights have been dimmed, the forest has grown and the atmosphere is very quiet and studious despite the huge number of visitors we have had, including Little Red Riding Hood, Wonder Woman, two Unicorns (one with multiple legs) and a Yeti. Author and performer, Daisy Lavea-Timo introduced us to 'Slam poetry' on Monday, an event that inspired the packed PAC and gave voice to our Paskfika students. We gave out lots of chocolate prizes and want to say thanks to everyone for being a part of our annual celebration of books.
