The funeral for our Year 13 whānau leader, Kate Gutry, is at 2pm on Monday afternoon. You will appreciate that many of our Year 13 and whānau students, along with staff, will want to attend the farewell to Kate.

The following advice was shared with our Year 13 students this week. We would like to share it with you also.

At the end of 2020 the Board of Trustees endorsed the removal of streaming at year 9 level in 2021 and year 10 level in 2022.

Throughout this week the Year 9 cohort have been bonding and challenging themselves whilst on camp.

Emma Bone and Summer Irvine have just been named in the Canterbury Senior Women's Water Polo 20 player squad.

It was all go at Acland last week, with the annual house activities taking place each day after school.

On Monday and Tuesday this week CGHS had 11 students participating in the Canterbury Secondary School Tennis Champs at Wilding Park.

Come along and support our girls this Saturday 13th March at 11:00am.

Christchurch Boys’ High School is pleased to join with the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience to bring you this evening with leading experts Dr Lucy Hone and Dr Denise Quinlan.

Old Girls who were at CGHS in 1958 and earlier are invited to Afternoon Tea.

The next Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora Board of Trustees meeting will be held in room 126 at 5pm on Monday 29 April 2024.

The disability support organisation, CCS Disability Action, are in need of safe and nurturing caregivers across the Christchurch region for their very special children and young people.
