On Wednesday 18th May, Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora was pleased to attend the inaugural Christchurch Emerging Ethnic Leaders Breakfast hosted by the Ministry of Education.

At the end of last term, we were given 1000 little New Zealand native plants to be potted up into larger pots which in a year's time will be planted in the Red Zone.

Heather Paget (Year 13) has been selected for the NZ Youth Orchestra on the viola.

The first whānau hui for 2022 will be held on Thursday 26th May. The evening will commence at 6.00 pm in the staffroom.

When I was in my first semester of graduate school, the professor teaching my psychological testing course handed me a stack of Rorschach inkblot tests to score. Before sending me on my way, he offhandedly said, "Double-check the age of the person whose test you are scoring. If it's a teenager, but you think it's a grown-up, you'll conclude that you have a psychotic adult. But that's just a normal teenager."
