We would like to introduce you to our wonderful team of prefects for this year.

The school had a fantastic day on Tuesday at Nga Puna Wai Sports Hub at our 2020 Athletics Day.

The first Learning Engagement Feedback for the year will be emailed to parents by Friday of next week (6th March).

On Friday 21st February, a group of eight Year 13 Economics students were invited along to the Reserve Bank luncheon hosted by the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.

The first 2020 school account statement will be emailed out within the first week of March, and every second month after that, until the end of the year.

Four teams from Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora competed in the Interschools Show Jumping Event on Wednesday 26th of February.

Last weekend the school auditioned choir, Cantrices, had its annual choir boot camp.

We are pleased to be able to offer students of Y9 the opportunity to take Speech and Drama lessons after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Students are able to make free physiotherapy appointments with Katie Shaw of Health and Sport Central. Katie will be at school from 11.00-2.00pm on Wednesdays.

A reminder to all parents of this year’s Year 11 and Year 12 Drama students, that the meeting about the proposed trip is on Thursday 5th March at 7pm in the Staffroom.

Year 9 Camps in Waipara took place last week. A special thanks from the Year 9 students for all the water sliding, raft building and terrifying tree swinging. It was a blast.
