Pasifika Leaders’ Breakfast
On Friday 25 June, Ella Tanoa–Kell and Jayanna Tia were acknowledged for their leadership of our Pasifika students at a breakfast event held at Shirley Boys’ High School.
Each school in Canterbury was able to select two Pasifika leaders for this event. Ella is the Pasifika prefect and Jayanna is the head of the Polyfest group. Both girls are deserved recipients of this honour as they have worked tirelessly to ensure that our Pasifika students are given many opportunities to connect to their culture.
Congratulations to both girls for this wonderful achievement. Thanks must be given to SpacPac for organising this celebration of our young leaders.
