We have started the year very positively. It was wonderful to welcome back all year levels and especially to see the Year 9 students inducted to secondary school so successfully.

This year we welcome several talented new staff to our Girls’ High family.

We are a traditional school. The way our students wear their uniform reflects the pride they have in themselves and their school. It is a very visible badge of belonging to our community.

We are scanning all the school magazines and prospectuses from 1900 to the present day in anticipation of being able to make these available online to our Old Girls and their families.

Come and join us for bubbles or juice, and nibbles on the steps of our stunning new Performing Arts Centre.

NZSTA would like to encourage parent and whanau participation on school boards in order to help shape and support the education of their children. They will support anyone interested in becoming a trustee, by way of workshops and also by providing access to an online Learning Management System.
