We are delighted to introduce our fabulous team of enthusiastic Prefects for 2019.

Students and teachers from our French exchange school in Strasbourg enjoyed a week of sunshine and activities in and around Christchurch.

Almost 8 years to the day after it was closed because of the devastating 2011 earthquake, the Christchurch Town Hall has reopened.

Postponed this Monday 25 February due to weather conditions. An alternative day will be advertised next week, once it is confirmed.

On Tuesday 7th May there will be an information evening held for parents in the Performing Arts Centre from 6pm about the National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA) as a qualification and the expectations on students. Parents with students in Years 11 - 13 are welcome to attend along with their daughters. The presentation will take approximately 30 minutes.

The Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Board of Trustees will be meeting at 5pm on Monday 25 February in the school library. Parents are welcome to attend for the first 15 minutes.

The Christchurch Girls’ High School Netball Club AGM will be held on Monday 25 February at 6.00pm in G4 (classroom above the gymnasium)

Outward Bound New Zealand is a not for profit organization offering outdoor experiential learning courses to New Zealanders young and old.

This year's Business Studies course is looking for business mentors or volunteers.

The Careers page, found on Onstream under Students, has now been updated – there are several useful links for students and parents to click on. These will take you to sites that include those that help with Job Search, Tertiary study and future pathways.

We are scanning all the school magazines and prospectuses from 1900 to the present day in anticipation of being able to make these available online to our Old Girls and their families.
