Examinations

Years 11 – 13 have major examinations once a year, on top of teachers assessing all classes regularly in-class time. 

You may not talk or borrow equipment while the examination is in progress. You should not make any appointments during the periods of tests or examinations and if you are sick someone from home should ring the school to inform the staff. 

You may be required to produce a medical certificate to the Assessment coordinator, bly@cghs.school.nz. 

The examination timetable is posted up on the students' noticeboards in plenty of time for you to organise your revision. 

It is likely that the start and finish times of the day will be changed during examinations. These will affect all levels including those not sitting the examinations. There will also be room changes.
