Uniform Rules
· Hair - tied back neatly and off the collar. Worn in a neat style. Plain ribbons or hair ties must be unobtrusive and in school colours (red or blue). Hair must be a natural colour.
· Earrings – only two plain, small studs in each ear lobe. No sleepers.
· Make-up is not allowed.
· Other jewellery – no necklaces, rings, bracelets, anklets.
· Body piercing – no nose studs, tongue studs or any other visible studs (except plain, small studs in each ear lobe). Tattoos must not be visible.
· Jerseys and cardigans – able to be worn only within the school or under the blazer. No jerseys or cardigans on the street.
· Blazers – compulsory; to be worn on the street, unless it is warm enough for shirt sleeves only; appropriate badges only, worn on the lapels. Blazers are required to be worn for formal assemblies and for prizegiving.
· Blouses – neat collars; tucked into the kilt (winter). Top button must be done up.
· Ties – worn covering the top button.
· Junior skirts and senior dresses – worn at mid-calf length, as illustrated on the website.
· Kilts – securely fastened at the waist; buckle done up; no longer than 20 cm from the ground.
· Socks – (summer) plain white ankle socks (optional with T-bar and U-bar shoes); (winter) navy tights or plain navy ¾ socks.
· Shoes – Dark brown leather T-bar, U-bar or lace-up shoes with low heel, as illustrated on the website.
· No non-uniform items. Either full summer or full winter uniform is to be worn – not a mixture. Sports’ uniforms (including sports’ tops) must not be worn with full school uniform. Undergarments must not be visible.
· Correct sports gear may be worn on a Wednesday.
