On Tuesday we had a very busy Open Day with approximately 1500 prospective parents and young people through our school.

Freya Lodge & Darsha Keogan have been chosen for the Canterbury U19 girls Futsal team.

This installation was created by 5 Year 9 art classes in response to the work of well-known New Zealand artist Richard Killeen.

Last Thursday, the 20th of May, was the CGHS cross country.

Kate Koller, Gabby Eastgate and Petra Curd-McCullough, were lucky enough to be chosen to attend the World Vision Youth Conference.

On the 3rd of June Christchurch Girls' High School/Te Kura o Hine Waiora will be holding its first ever Junior House Production.

Last weekend the Canterbury Secondary Schools Squash Championship took place.

CGHS PTA advises a Special General Meeting will be held directly prior to the next PTA meeting for the purpose of approving the proposed new CGHS PTA Constitution. This meeting will be held on Monday 21 June at 6pm in the Student Café. A copy of the proposed new Constitution is available through our PTA Secretary by emailing pta@cghs.school.nz
